1.Water decreases the temperature of burning materials. 2.The dense foam layer prevents oxygen from getting into contact with the burning materials. 3.The dense foam layer prevents gas from escaping and reignition is therefore impossible. Consequently , having the above different extinguishing effects it ensures that the fire is extinguished quickly. |
